The acceptance of the 3-Tiered System to Quantify Readiness concept paper has resulted in the continual push for the next steps to be completed; an implementable solution rather than a concept. Implementing the guideline will provide AHIMT program managers and AHIMT members the critical information, that will enable them to more clearly understand and develop the degree of administrative, operational, and logistical readiness and capability a Type 3 AHIMT needs to possess to be successful during a deployment.
A peer approved implementable guidance document, including the model and best practice guidelines referred to within the concept document is underway.
- The approved concept is undergoing re-writing from its current focus of discussing the background, issues, and development of a workable concept, to a document that is a stand-alone guidance document that focuses on implementation of the 3-Tiered System to Quantify Readiness.
- There is a section covering the history and development of the 3-Tiered concept so those who are not familiar with the project will be able to fully understand the scope, application, and background of its development.
